👋 Hey! Immediate disclosure: I don't really know anything about permaculture. Totally a beginner over here. But as a preamble to creating this course I got obsessed with the idea of zones. And when I say obsessed, I mean busy applying the idea of zones at a soul/intuition/mythic/fairytale level. (😆 Welcome to my brain.)
Soooooooo, stay with me. In permaculture there's this idea that you have your home at the center and then five zones circling out from there. And as you move out in wider swaths, each further zone is based on how often you will visit. So your salad and herbs would be planted close, and then veggies, then orchards, then places you forage, then the wilds.
If we translate this to soulscape, my question is: what are the things that you need to be "harvesting" regularly in order to keep you thriving at a deep core human level? Like, what if these zones were full of the activities of soul, soma, spirit? What do you need close in order to not just survive but to be juicy and alive as you?
Asking this question of myself I realized that even though I could land on some answers, in order to really dig into the rich loomy soil of this inquiry it would be best to bust open the art journal for more explorations. Letting the muse help us see what actually would thrive in each zone and offering us up some genuine surprises along the way.
So you'll need a journal, pens, and collage supplies (scissors, glue and a magazine). If you can swing a set of inktense pencils, awesome. (My standard supply list is here.)
Your purchase gives you immediate and permanent access to this course.
