👋 hi! yay! I'm so glad you're here. Thank you for volunteering!  I appreciate your enthusiasm and your willingness to help me refine the way I share this work. The following is the (work in progress) introduction and intake. I appreciate your feedback on any parts that don't make sense or feel clunky or where you would like more information. An Introduction to Soul Talismans... 

Soul Eclipsing: This work is animistic, talismanic, and grounded in a lineage of support and interconnection with ancestors and allies. It is based on the truth that your soul, your spirit and essence, is not only intact, it is luminous, alive and communicative. Your soul cannot be broken or lost. And yet, like dust building on the windshield when we drive down a dirt road, life has a way of obscuring our natural view. In this lineage we call the obscuring soul "eclipsing" rather than soul loss because nothing is lost, there’s just stuff between you and your essence, blocking your view. Maybe for you that feels like everything is muted or foggy. Maybe it feels like confusion or slogging through mud. Maybe it’s a quiet truth that you don’t feel like yourself. Or maybe the eclipsing will only be obvious once it's cleared.  Eclipsing is a natural and unavoidable part of being human that happens throughout life and especially during hard times. And these talismans are a surprisingly effective method of clearing and restoring your connection to soul.  Frankly, they shift things that nothing else can touch.

Lineage: The effectiveness of these Talismans speaks to the depth only available in a living lineage. By which I mean it isn't *me* that provides your talisman with its oomph but a vast current that stretches through me by permission. My teacher fábẹkú is, first of all, a solid, good, kind, generous human who also happens to have the most ridiculously impeccable ability to see and say what’s so with a level of clarity I haven’t encountered before. He’s extensively trained in Ìṣẹ̀ṣe, actively connected to his own system of teachers and elders and profoundly grounded in deep animism. You know how you can make up your own prayer or ritual or process and there’s definitely goodness? But then if you contrast that with stepping into a ritual that’s been done for thousands of years somehow when your mouth makes the sound (or your body makes the motion or you recreate the symbol), every mouth and body and eye that’s engaged it before you lends gravitas to the moment? That’s the difference between me sending you something I made myself versus sending you a talisman rooted in this lineage.  

Talisman: I am currently completing a 2 year intensive training that focused on five basic-level talismans… each with their own gorgeous matrix and approach. The simplest one stands as is regardless of who wears it, the others shift and adjust depending on what you need.  The choice of talisman, as well as the specific medicines for your restoration are confirmed through a straightforward system of divination. While you and I may have ideas and inclinations, your soul (via divination) is the guiding force for the talisman, medicines, results and length of restoration. A simple string talisman, for example, saturated with various energies, will be active until it falls off. This could be within the hours or it may remain on your wrist for months. The effect you experience from your talisman may be subtle or remarkable…and regardless, when you complete the process, there will absolutely be a reduction in eclipsing.

How this Works: Below is the initial intake. It includes questions on why you're drawn to a restoration now, as well as general questions including allergies and other modifications that may be necessary for you. I'll ask about your mental/emotional/physical well-being to determine best timing and confirm there isn't anything that's outside of my skill level. It will also include logistical questions like mailing address plus one key question about permission for soul contact. That consent is vital because on an energetic level, this is something that only happens with us (waves at you and me and to spiritual plane) together. 

After you complete the intake form the next phase will be 100% on my end with divination and the physical making of the Talisman. That may be a straightforward process or it may be a longer negotiation I engage in via divination with ongoing adjustments. And with feedback from my teacher. Due to the changeable conversational nature of the process, I won't update you until it's finalized. And really at this stage of the process there's nothing you need to do on your end besides feel into the future where your restoration has been completed successfully! 

Once the Talisman is confirmed, I will provide the instructions and tracking instructions for your package.  As part of the instructions I'll let you know whether there are pre-restoration and/or post-restoration practices to open the way for the process to be effective and to support its sustained goodness. (These are simple things like baths, offerings.) I will provide clear, step-by-step instructions and we can make modifications to support any accessibility needs.

What to expect: Every single talisman is different. For some restorations, little to nothing is felt while for others, it's surprisingly intense. And then there's every experience in between. Subtle doesn't mean it's not working, and exploding epiphanies doesn't mean it's working better. You can trust that your restoration is doing exactly what is needed no matter what you feel. And you can ALWAYS reach out to me to share your experience and to ask for support with whatever is showing up. I'll check with my teacher and let you know what he suggests. That said, it is important to iterate that soul restoration is an adjunct spiritual support and not a substitute for therapy, psychiatric or medical care. Please do not discontinue any systems of support you have in place. We love all the support!
