It might seem that creating physical (metaphysical) talismans is wildly different from the art journaling explorations that I've been offering for the last fifteen+ years. But at heart both are about clearing the accumulated lies and overculture overlays so that you can move powerfully forward, squarely on a path aligned with your deep intuition.

Each of my storywalks is about gently nudging you into seeing what is no longer working and delivering you over the threshold of a brave new next. And these talismans are a gorgeous and potent support for exactly the same. They can work in tandem with self reflection when you consciously excavate in your journals and they shift energy at a root level that nothing else really touches. 

About Soul Restoration Talismans

I'll start by asking this....

Have you had something show up at some point in your life that absolutely and fundamentally changed the entire way you operated in the world? Maybe the shift was as simple as a new perspective that made all the inner pins tumble open. Maybe it was finding just the thing that pivoted your health in much needed ways. Maybe it was one of those spontaneous slipping into the vastness of the very fabric of reality brought on by something as innocuous as staring at the waves of the ocean. Maybe it was the grace of finally stopping doing that... whatever *that* thing is that was a toxic load on your system. Do you remember the miraculous feeling of the shift as it took root?

That's the potential I want to talk about with you.

In our human lifespan we all get rolled and rumpled, lifted and softened, nudged and tugged. Some difficult chapters stretch like a dusty endless road and require perseverance and plodding while other chapters are a haphazard fingers-crossed surfing of tsunami waves. And throughout it all, we are ever seeking ways to wipe the metaphoric window. Wiping off the accumulated dust and debris so that we can see into ourselves, remember who we actually are. Wiping away any obscuring so we can look out with lightness and clarity, so we can navigate what’s coming with kindness and connection.

I want these window wiping moments for all of us. And by a wild grace I have a way to do it. You see, quietly over the last few years I’ve been intensively studying with a remarkable teacher to learn a talismanic process that - speaking as a rebellious skeptic with a LOT of new age experience - is impressively effective. I’ve learned multiple styles of talisman… each with their own structured approach. The simplest one stands as is, regardless of who wears it. The others adjust depending on what you specifically need. Over my times as a student of the work I’ve received dozens of talismans from classmates and more than anything else I’ve done in my 25+ years of seeking and studying, these seemingly simple strings or stones or pouches? They delivered.

Some came in like soft rabbit feet gently turning me towards something I’d forgotten or softening my view just so. Some brought satisfyingly concrete miracles: a substantial check just as we were about to go under financially, or the relief of finding an answer to a decade long health issue. Some leaned their strength into breaking unhelpful habits and ending incoherent relationships. One of them lifted the lid to reveal a lie about who I thought I was more effectively than all the hallucinogens I tried in my twenties! Some were subtle and some so not-subtle it sounds like hyperbole. But the long and short of it is that I had dozens of talismans from dozens of my peers and all of them produced a profound shift of one type or another.

How do I explain that in public without sounding like a snake-oil salesman? I guess I can’t. But what I can say to you is that this work is wildly effective and deeply good.

The effectiveness of these Soul Restoration Talismans, especially given that they were created by folks just beginning training, speaks to a depth only available in a living lineage. By which I mean it isn't ever *me* that imbues a talisman with its oomph but rather a vast current that stretches through me by permission. My teacher is first of all a solid, kind, generous human who also happens to have the most ridiculously impeccable ability to see and say what’s so with a level of clarity I haven’t encountered before. He’s extensively trained in Ìṣẹ̀ṣe, actively connected to his own system of teachers and elders and profoundly, beautifully, grounded in deep animism.

You know how you can make up your own ritual and there’s definitely goodness but then if you contrast that with stepping into a ritual that’s been done for thousands of years, somehow when your mouth makes the sound (or your body makes the motion or you recreate the symbol), every mouth and body and eye that’s engaged it before lends gravitas to the moment? That’s the difference between me sending you something I made up myself versus sending you a talisman rooted in this lineage.

All of which is to say: Yay talismans! And to say it would absolutely be my honor and pleasure to sit down and do the ritual work required to make you one so that you can have something that nudges, or rumbles, and gives you something you maybe didn’t even realize you really really need.

How would you even know you need this talisman process?

Well, let's be honest... everyone alive for more than 5 minutes could benefit because life has a way of slowly (and sometimes quickly) obscuring our natural potency. In this lineage we call it eclipsing rather than soul loss because nothing is lost, there’s just stuff built up between you and your essence, blocking the view. So maybe that feels like life is muted or foggy. Maybe it feels like confusion or slogging through mud. Maybe it’s a quiet truth that you no longer recognize yourself in the mirror. In my personal experience, sometimes I felt like there was something off with me and sometimes I only could see it when it was lifted. So if you aren't sure why but you're feeling the tug towards your own restoration, you don't need to know any specifics to say yes.

I'd like to reiterate that at the center of this lineage is a trumpeted truth that you are not broken. Ever. Your soul is intact, alive, dynamic. And restoration simply clears the static, lifts the drop clothes, blows off the dust. Talismans and the accompanying rituals deepen and strengthen a space around you... like a home for your soul to thrive in. Everything we do, simple or complex, is aimed at increasing the thrum of that thriving aliveness.

Choice of Talisman 

The first thing I'll say is that the details of your talisman are determined by divining. The majority of my training was focused on developing the skills for solid and effective divination within this context. So rather than you or me choosing what we *think* you would need from our limited vantage point, we get to listen to the answer. That means we both can lean into the gravitas of a talisman created specifically for you. Knowing we will have confirmation of the type of talisman, ingredients to be included as well as simple rituals to support and anchor. And divination will also confirm the cost of your talisman.

Cost is, as you can guess, based by complexity. To be absolutely clear, a simple talisman is not less effective and a complex talisman is not more effective. Nor is a more complex talisman any indication that you are more 'messed up' somehow. I think we all know through living that sometimes less is more and sometimes more is more.  I will always start by checking if the simplest and lowest cost option will be effective and then increase in complexity only as indicated. 

Given all the variables, a standard talisman price range is between $100-$500. If you have a 'do not exceed' number I will only confirm to see if a talisman can be made within that range. If I am not able to offer a talisman within your range, your deposit will be refunded.

If even the $100 low-end of the price range feels impossible right now, please know that everyone in this lineage has a commitment to providing reduced and no cost restorations for those who need them. I use the Green Bottle financial criteria tiers created by Alexis J. Cunningfolk as a basis for my pro bono work. You'll find the details at the bottom of the registration deposit page. I am also absolutely able to set up a payment plan if that makes a restoration more possible for you.

Steps for Your Restoration:

• Begin by clicking the link below and making a $50 deposit. (A waiver code is available at the bottom of the registration deposit page for those in tier one eligible for pro bono work.)
• Once you've completed the deposit registration, you will receive a link to an intake form. The questions cover important practical details around health, allergies and sensitivities, existing support, range of motion constraints, mailing details and more. There will be a section in the intake form for you to make requests regarding reduced cost, no cost and do not exceed limits.
• After I've received your intake, I'll divine the details of your specific talisman. I am usually able to complete divination within a week of receiving an intake. If it will take longer, I will let you know. 
• Once the divination is complete, I'll email you to let you know the details and cost of your talisman. If you choose not to proceed, I'll refund your deposit. If you choose to proceed, we will set up a payment/payment plan for the remainder due as needed. After the payment is complete, your restoration will be added to my schedule.
• Talisman creation is by nature a conversation, and the making of your talisman may be short or extended. I'll only reach out if additional information is needed or if there are rituals that need to be done on your end. Otherwise, I'll be in touch once the talisman is ready to ship and provide preparation instructions and tracking information for the package.
• Your package will include the talisman as well as all the details you need. You will carry/wear your talisman until it completes. You may notice the effects immediately or the shift may become obvious over time. Again, more obvious is not more potent! And we can both rest into the knowing that your talisman is designed especially for you and will do exactly the work needed.

The talisman itself is the primary support for this restoration process but of course I am right here and available to answer any questions that arise. 

I could say and I certainly feel in my bones that these talismans are so so so needed in these times. We could talk at length about all of that but to say it succinctly, the core medicine of these talismans is hope. Hope that things can shift. Hope that our trajectory can open. Hope that our endogenous magic that has been obscured along the way will be found again. And while I’d love to wave a wand and make it ALL better for all of us right now, this is a way I can confidently support you in something getting better...and not just something random but exactly the thing your soul says is a priority right now.
