Hi. Can we just sit here for a minute shoulder to shoulder and acknowledge the intensity of these times? It's so much to metabolize, to move through. 

How do we maintain capacity so we can continue to show up and take care of each other and this wildly unique precious life?

For a few years now I've been musing a lot about nervous system regulation. And coming to terms with how genuinely challenging it can be to move out of anxiety/freeze patterns without another person literally embodying and modeling a different more calm and fluid possibility for us.  

But what happens when the pattern is not only at the level of the physical... what happens when it's affecting us on the level of soul?

Enter... Soul Restoration Talismans

Ooph this being human. In our lifespan we all get rolled and rumpled, softened, walloped, nudged, tugged. Even in normal times there are the chapters that stretch like a dusty endless road that requires perseverance and plodding. And other chapters that are a haphazard fingers-crossed surfing of tsunami waves. And in these "may you live in interesting times" all of that is amplified. The grooves of the dusty road feels deeper and longer, the waves look higher. 

Just like in nervous system work, the hope and plan is to go through hard parts and then shake, move, and come together to integrate, rest and recover.  We need ways to wipe off the accumulated dust and debris so that we can see into ourselves again, remember who we actually are. Remember *all* that we actually are. We need ways to wipe away the obscuring so we can once again look out with lightness and clarity, so we can navigate what’s coming with kindness and connection.

I want these soul resets for all of us and by a wild grace I have a way to do it.

Over the last few years I’ve been intensively studying with a remarkable teacher to learn a talismanic process that - speaking as a rebellious skeptic with a LOT of new age experience - is seriously impressively effective. I’ve learned multiple styles of talisman… each with their own beautiful structured approach. The simplest one stands as is, regardless of who wears it. The others adjust depending on what you specifically need. Over my time as a student of the work I’ve received dozens of talismans from classmates and more than anything else I’ve done in my 25+ years of seeking and studying, these seemingly simple strings or stones or pouches? They delivered.

Some came in like padded rabbit feet gently turning me towards something I’d forgotten or softening my view just so. Some brought satisfyingly concrete miracles: a check just as we were about to go under financially, or the relief of finding an answer to a decade long health issue. Some leaned their strength into breaking unhelpful habits and ending incoherent relationships. One of them lifted the lid to reveal a lie about who I thought I was more effectively than all the hallucinogens I tried in my twenties! Some were subtle and some so not-subtle it sounds like hyperbole. But the long and short of it is that I had dozens of talismans from dozens of my peers and all of them produced a profound shift of one type or another.

How do I explain that in public without sounding like a snake-oil salesman? I'm not even going to try! But what I can say to you is that this work is wildly effective and deeply good.

The effectiveness of these Soul Restoration Talismans, especially given that they were created by folks just beginning training, speaks to a depth only available in a living lineage. By which I mean it isn't ever *me* that imbues a talisman with its oomph but rather a vast current that stretches through me by permission. My teacher is first of all a solid, kind, generous human who also happens to have the most ridiculously impeccable ability to see and say what’s so with a level of clarity I haven’t encountered before. He’s extensively trained in Ìṣẹ̀ṣe, actively connected to his own system of teachers and elders and profoundly, beautifully, grounded in deep animism.

You know how you can make up your own ritual and there’s definitely goodness - but then if you contrast that with stepping into a ritual that’s been done for thousands of years, somehow when your mouth makes the sound (or your body makes the motion or you recreate the symbol), every mouth and body and eye that’s engaged it before lends gravitas to the moment? That’s the difference between me sending you something I made up myself versus sending you a talisman rooted in this lineage.

All of which is to say: thank freaking goodness for talismans. And that it would absolutely be my honor and pleasure to sit down and do the ritual work required to make you one so that you can have something that nudges or purrs, and gives you something you maybe didn’t even realize you really really need to return to the full expression of your soul. Especially now. Because we need you. And we especially need your unique genius at it's full flexible gorgeous wattage!

How would someone know they need this talisman process?

It's really hard to imagine someone who couldn't benefit since intensities and hardships of life have such an ongoing way of slowly -sometimes quickly- obscuring innate potency. In this lineage we call it eclipsing rather than soul loss because nothing is lost, there’s just stuff between you and your essence, blocking the view.

I would guess that if you're reading this you know a personal version of what soul eclipsing feels like. Sometimes it's like life is muted or foggy. Maybe it feels like confusion or slogging through mud. Or like you keep getting knocked off and can't find solid ground. For many of us it’s a quiet truth that we no longer recognize ourself in the mirror.

In my personal experience, occasionally I knew a specific thing felt off but just as often I only could see it when it was lifted. So if you aren't sure why but you're definitely feeling the tug towards your own restoration, you don't need to know any specifics to say yes.

And that tug? That's really the way we know it's time for our talisman.

I'm compelled to reiterate that at the center of this lineage is a trumpeted truth that you are not broken. Ever. Your soul is intact, alive, dynamic. And restoration simply clears the static, lifts the drop cloths, blows off the dust. It's like the calm clear friend in times of trouble that comes and sits with you until you remember who you are. Talismans and the accompanying rituals deepen and strengthen a space around you... like a home for your soul to thrive in.  Everything we do in this process, the simple and complex, is aimed at increasing the thrum of your thriving aliveness.

Your Talisman 

The important bit to say first off is that the details of your talisman are determined by divining. A majority of my training was focused on developing the skills for solid and effective divination within this context. So rather than you or me choosing what we *think* you would need from our limited vantage point, we get to listen to the answer. That means we both can lean into the stability of a talisman created specifically for you. Knowing we will have confirmation of the type of talisman, ingredients to be included as well as simple rituals to support and anchor. And divination will also confirm the cost of your talisman.

Cost is, as you can guess, determined by complexity. To be absolutely clear, a simple talisman is not less effective and a complex talisman is not more effective. Nor is a more complex talisman any indication that you are somehow more messed up. I think we all know through living that sometimes less is more and sometimes more is more.  I will always start by checking if the simplest and lowest cost option will be effective and then increase in complexity only as indicated. 

Given all the variables, a standard talisman price range is between $100-$500. If you have a 'do not exceed' number I will only confirm to see if a talisman can be made within that range. If I am not able to offer a talisman within your range, your deposit will be refunded.

Steps for Your Restoration:

• Begin by clicking the link below and making a $50 deposit. (A waiver code is available at the bottom of the registration deposit page for those in tier one eligible for pro bono work.)
• Once you've completed the deposit registration, you will receive a link to an intake form. The questions cover important practical details around health, allergies and sensitivities, existing support, range of motion constraints, mailing details and more. There will be a section in the intake form for you to make requests regarding reduced cost, no cost and do not exceed limits.
• After I've received your intake, I'll divine the details of your specific talisman. I am usually able to complete divination within a week of receiving an intake. If it will take longer, I will let you know. 
• Once the divination is complete, I'll email you to let you know the details and cost of your talisman. If you choose not to proceed, I'll refund your deposit. If you choose to proceed, we will set up a payment/payment plan for the remainder due as needed. After the payment is complete, your restoration will be added to my schedule.
• Talisman creation is by nature a conversation, and the making of your talisman may be short or extended. After we've confirmed, I'll only reach out if additional information is needed or if there are rituals that need to be done on your end. Otherwise, I'll be in touch once the talisman is ready to ship and provide instructions and tracking information for the package.
• Your package will include the talisman as well as any hard to find ingredients you need for supporting baths/anointing/etc. You will carry your talisman until it completes. You may notice effects immediately or the shift may become obvious over time. Again, more obvious is not more potent! And we can both rest into the knowing that your talisman is designed especially for you and will do exactly the work needed.

The talisman itself is the primary support for this restoration process but of course I am right here and available to answer any questions that arise. 

I am deeply grateful for the potency of these talismans that are so so so needed in these times. We could talk at length but I'll just say now that the core medicine of these talismans is hope. Hope that things can shift. Hope that our trajectory can open. Hope that our endogenous magic that has been obscured along the way will be found again. Hope in my experience is not a flimsy dreamy thing, it's a solid companion that walks you through the hard places towards what is deeply needed.
